The course also provides valuable information on fair housing legislation and best practices to avoid some of the most common fair housing complaints made against real estate license holders.Legal II - 1:00 PM - 5:00 PMThis TREC-promulgated course covers various topics related to TREC's Canons of Professional Ethics and Conduct, with a focus on competency and agency relationships with respect to new legislation regarding non-representation status and written agreements. The course also touches on the use of unlicensed assistants in real estate brokerage and advertising compliance. TREC Legal Update II delves into the pros and cons of artificial intelligence (AI) in brokerage and how agents can use it and stay in compliance with federal and state legislation and requirements. The last two chapters of the course cover VA loans and the process by which TREC investigates complaints against license holders.Join us in person for the latest legal updates every realtor needs!
