🌀 Hand-Built Pottery Class: Kitchen Utensil Holder (a.k.a. The Spoon Wrangler) 🥄
Tired of your spatulas living chaotic, drawer-to-drawer lives? Give them a proper home! Join us at Back Mountain Makery for a hands-on pottery class where you’ll learn hand-building techniques to create your very own kitchen utensil holder (crock)—no pottery wheel required and no April Fool’s tricks, we promise 😉
You’ll be working with beautiful hazelnut clay, a warm, earthy clay body that pairs wonderfully with so many glaze colors. You’ll design your piece from scratch, choosing the shape, style, and glaze color to perfectly match your kitchen’s color palette (or at least distract from that one cabinet you haven’t painted yet).
✨ What to expect:
Step-by-step hand-building instruction
Use of gorgeous hazelnut clay that makes glazes pop
A relaxing, clay-filled evening
A functional piece you’ll proudly use (and show off)
No experience necessary—just bring your creativity and maybe a sense of humor. Clay happens. 🎨
Spots are limited, so sign up before your utensils decide to unionize!
The Back Mountain Makery is a Licensed B.Y.O.B Establishment and yes you are welcome to bring snacks.
