Kind folks. Great music. A room to move + breathe.

Y'all come on in. No experience necessary.

Just a room full of folks choosing, for a couple of hours, to put their phones away, kick off their shoes, and let their bodies lead for a change.

Whether you come to shake off the week, reconnect with yourself, meet some genuinely kind humans, or simply because dancing feels good: you belong here. And we're really glad you're here.

So... what actually happens?
If it's your first time, welcome.

We gather in a beautiful old hall, circle up for a welcome, and then let the music take us from there.

There's no talking on the dance floor.
No phones.
No performances.
No expectations to “get it right.” 

Some folks dance the whole time. Some sway. Some stretch. Some laugh. Some cry. Some dance together, some dance with themselves. It’s a place to celebrate, to grieve, to play, to release, to feel … to feel alive again. 

There isn't one right way to do this. It’s about how it feels, not how it looks. 

Just come exactly as you are. And the dance will take it from there.

A few simple agreements
If it's your first dance, don't worry: we'll walk you through everything during the Opening Circle. You're not expected to know anything before you arrive.

How we take care of each other:

Bare feet encouraged
Kick your shoes off and get grounded. Supportive footwear welcome, if needed for mobility.

Alcohol-free
We keep this space substance-free so everyone can be fully present.

Screen-free
Less scrolling. More soul-ing.

No talking on the dance floor. 

We hold a non-verbal space to let the mind quiet and body speak.

Consent is cool.
Respect each other. We use “hands at heart” 🙏 for nonverbal communication of our boundaries on the dance floor.

Feel your feelings.

Joy, grief, laughter, tears... whatever's true for you is welcome here.

Be present. Be kind.
Take care of yourself. Take care of each other. Use common sense. 

Leave folks better than you found 'em.

A smile. A helping hand. A warm welcome. We all help create this community
.

Our hope: you leave lighter and more grounded than how you came. 

Here's how the afternoon unfolds
4:00 PM • Arrive, settle in, stretch, breathe, say hello.

4:15 PM • Opening Circle + Community Welcome

A heads up: To honor the depth of the experience, doors close promptly at 4:30 PM and we aren't able to admit late arrivals. If it's your first dance, please be sure to arrive in time for the Opening Circle: we'll make sure you have everything you need. 💛

4:30 PM • Ecstatic Dance Journey

6:00 PM • Closing Circle

Afterward...

If you've got a little extra time, stay awhile.

Folks usually wander into the garden, swap stories, meet someone new, share a hug or two, and ease back into the rest of their Sunday feeling a little lighter than when they arrived.
