🌳 Easter Tree (or Not!) Clay Class 🌳
Because not everything needs a holiday… but it totally can.
Join us for a fun and creative evening of hand building with deep, rich hazelnut clay at the Back Mountain Makery! In this class, you’ll learn how to make charming layered ceramic trees using texture—or skip the texture entirely if smooth and sassy is more your style.
These trees don’t have to be Easter trees. They can be everyday trees, “I-just-like-trees” trees, mantel trees, end-table trees, or “I-made-this-myself” brag-worthy trees.
✨ What you’ll make (yes, two!):
1 five-layered tree (the overachiever)
1 three-layered tree (the cute little sidekick)
✨ What you’ll learn:
Hand building techniques
How to add texture (or not—no pressure here)
How to create ceramic décor that makes people ask, “Where did you buy that?”
You’ll choose your textures and colors, then Jo Pilston will take your masterpieces back to her studio where they’ll dry, be bisque fired, glazed, and fired one final time—so you don’t have to babysit clay. We love that for you.
Go pastel for spring, neutral for year-round, or get a head start on your Christmas tree collection (because being prepared is a personality trait).
