- **Event Description**: Join us for a night of community and conversation with Dallas Hope Charities.About this EventDallas Hope Charities and Dallas Contemporary are coming together with North Texas community leaders for a powerful evening exploring how organizations are reclaiming and advancing LGBTQIA+ hope. Join us for our fourth annual Pride Panel as we dive into thought-provoking conversations and strengthen community connections. The evening begins with a Meet and Mingle hour, where guests can view the latest Dallas Contemporary exhibitions and connect with local LGBTQIA+ organizations working toward equality.Kick off the evening with a Meet and Mingle (6:00–6:30PM) featuring a museum tour, a vendor market and resource fair, gelato pop-up by Gelato La Boca, and interactive activities curated by Dallas Contemporary.At 6:30PM, settle in for a compelling panel discussion where the panel will explore LGBTQIA+ joy, resilience, and hope in today’s social and political landscape.Wrap up the night from 7:30–8:00PM with more time to connect and explore.This is more than a panel—it's a celebration of community, courage, and collective hope.Panelists:Dr. Steffanie Grossman, PhD, CEDS-C (she/her), is a Licensed Psychologist in private practice, who specializes in working with LGBTQIA+ clients, gender identity, sexual identity, and eating disorders.  She provides therapy and brainspotting sessions, as well as assessments of gender dysphoria for letters in support of gender-affirming medical and legal procedures.  Steffanie is passionate about providing supervision, consultation, and mentorship to our professional community, and was honored to recently be the keynote speaker at the Texas College Counseling Center Conference.  She is currently a Member-at-Large for the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals' Board of Directors, as well as the President of the organization's local DFW Chapter.  She also enjoyed her previous roles as the Member-at-Large (Professional Advocacy) for the American College Counseling Association and on advisory committees for LGBTQ+ focused programming.  She recently was named as one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in Healthcare for 2025, through Women We Admire.  In her spare time, Steffanie loves traveling, spending time with her retired therapy dog Rockstar, and challenging herselt to occasionally perform in theatre, improv, and stand up comedy.Javier Enriquez (he/him) is the Founder and President of Dallas Social Queer Organization (DSQO), a volunteer-led nonprofit creating affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ adults through community support, empowerment, and queer joy. A dedicated organizer and advocate, Javier has developed educational and social programs addressing HIV stigma at Resource Center and co-founded the Sunrise Movement Dallas, mobilizing youth for climate justice. Through DSQO, he continues to build inclusive, accessible programming that uplifts and unites the local queer community.Jay Rosa (she/her/ella) is a first-generation community organizer and the Deputy Field Organizer at Jolt Action, a movement powered by Latinos to ignite civic engagement and challenge the status quo in Texas. Based in the DFW area, Jay works to empower Latino communities through grassroots organizing, ensuring they have a voice in the decisions that shape their lives. Her work is rooted in a deep commitment to uplifting families, honoring generational resilience, and building a more just and representative future for Texas.Míchél Macklin-Encarnacion (she/her) is a strategic communications and engagement professional dedicated to building inclusive, art-centered spaces within the nonprofit and philanthropy sectors. As the Donor Relations &amp; Communications Coordinator at Texas Pride Community Foundation, Míchél brings her passion for equity, storytelling, and community building to amplify underrepresented voices across Texas. An Afrolatina woman of trans experience, she has led transformative initiatives—from expanding access to digital education and workforce development in D.C. to launching training cohorts for trans and non-binary residents in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs.
