The session blends art appreciation with practical instruction, offering attendees a creative framework that encourages attendees to explore film beyond the workshop, or at least leave the workshop with a renewed mindset towards content creation.During the workshop, each participant will capture footage toward a 1-to-1.5-minute art appreciation video with final editing and completion encouraged in the days following the festival. Participants are welcome to use their own smartphones or personal cameras. Pegasus will provide approximately five cameras for those who would like to work with dedicated equipment.The two facilitators will guide the group through framing, composition, and basic visual storytelling, helping attendees shape a piece that reflects their own response to the art. Completed videos will live on as a reflection of the Dallas Asian American Film Festival, the Crow Museum, and the Pegasus Media Project, extending the reach of the event well beyond the day.This workshop is designed for anyone curious about filmmaking, visual storytelling, or content creation.
