We are thrilled that Minnesota-based singer-songwriter Creekbed Carter Hogan will return to the shop, bringing their defiant, resilient, and hopeful queergrass. Opening the evening is Oak Cliff’s own, Brody Price!

Blasphemous, stripped-down, and a stomping good time: Creekbed Carter Hogan is a trans idiot with a heart of gold slinging queergrass out of dive bars, sewer creeks, and fancy international stages alike. Weaving stories of growing up Catholic around deftly written songs that pierce the soul and tickle the funny bone, Carter creates a unique blend of folk picking and queer mayhem where anyone can feel welcome and loved. They live in Minnesota now so being back in Dallas is a rare treat, and they're excited to share all new songs from their forthcoming album, too.

Brody Price

Brody Price is a songwriter from the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, TX. Vacillating between moments of polished folk songwriting and walls of overdriven guitar, Price’s music carries on the tradition of the state’s alternative country scene of the early 2000’s. “In music, I’ve always been too country for the indie rock scene and too indie for the country scene. I’ve realized how comfortable I feel in that space now.” Price will be playing all new songs from his forthcoming album.
