Among the first artists to make it home, he helped shape the creative community that defines the district today. Over decades spent working in historic Dallas studios, he built a body of work spanning printmaking, furniture, concrete, and steel. Alongside fellow artist Keith Turman, he also created the neighborhood's beloved Bowler Hat sculpture, which remains on public view. This year's tour honors not only Albert's work, but the artistic community he helped build. What to Expect:A self-guided tour through 100+ Cedars artists' studios, galleries, businesses, and public spaces.
