April 1stAbout this EventArtistic swimming is a transformative but unique activity that builds personal health through exercise, community through friendships, and artistic expression. Whether you've never heard of this sport, only dreamt of it when watching the Olympics, or maybe you swam it yourself decades ago, come give “synchro” a try!This class is scheduled for Wednesday April 1st. It includes pool entry, a nose clip, and a one day trial USA Artistic Swimming (USAAS) membership*. This is an indoor pool and is in all deep water. There is not a lifeguard on duty at this pool. Space is limited and registration is required. If you have any questions, please reach out.Requirements: Age 18+. Able to swim 100 yards in all deep water. Comfortable going upside down. Able to exit the pool with use of a basic pool ladder. One piece swimsuit and goggles. Swim cap optional. Please note additional forms will be required prior to swimming (liability, photo/media release, and USA Artistic Swimming) which can be found at lonestarsynchro.org/new-swimmer.Registration notes: Most swimmers will fall under the standard registration, cost of $30. If you have attended an intro to synchro class in the past 5 years but do not have a current and active USAAS membership, we will need to register you as a 30 day trial athlete ($20 cost to us) for liability purposes so please select the $40 option. If you are an existing and active USAAS member, please contact us for a discount code. EventBrite may charge fees. Additional payment methods may be allowed by contacting us.
