- **Event Description**: Calling all Logan lesbian-identifying folk, non-binary and trans lesbians, sapphics, and bisexual women - join us in a casual monthly creative meetup. Connect and share the joy of community in our own city.

Building on the series of creative workshops this ongoing creative social group will continue! We've attached a small fee to join to cover costs, thank you for understanding.

**Meetup 1: 14 February 2026, 2:30pm-4:30pm
Self Love + Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week - $20pp

Explore the concept of self-worth, chosen self-love, non-romantic intimacy and love beyond romance (from friends, community, self and chosen family)

Create your own artwork to hang as a gift to yourself in a paint n sip (un-alcoholic sip) style workshop. Refreshments and light snacks provided.

Optional: Don't want to paint? Bring your own creative project and make it alongside us.

**Meetup 2: 14 March 2026, 2:30pm-4:30pm
Making Space Together - $20pp

In this co-making session, we'll explore what you need this year to feel safe, calm and supported throughout the year.

Bring your own creative project and to work on alongside us. Enjoy connecting with like-minded lesbians while you create together. 

Optional: Don't have a project to bring? We'll have some basic materials (paper, pencils, pastels) to use and sketch while you're there.

**Meetup 3: 11 April 2026, 1-3pm
Roots, Lineage & Lesbian History - $20pp

In this sessions we honour lesbian history to pay respect to those who came before us, welcoming those who feel disconnected from it and sharing stories of hardship and hope to support us in these times.

Create a canvas collage on the veranda, using words, images, symbols of influences to create your own powerful artwork. We'll provide story prompts about who came before us. 

Refreshments and light snacks provided.

**Meetup 4: 9 May 2026, 1-3pm
Soft places to be - Creative drop in - $20pp

In this co-making session, we'll explore the idea of using creative mindfulness to support us in a soft, sensory-friendly environment. 
Prompt: No-pressure sketching of the landscape around us using pencils, pastels and pens OR bring your own creative project and to work on alongside us. Enjoy connecting with like-minded lesbians while you create together. 

Optional: We'll have some basic materials (paper, pencils, pastels) to use and sketch while you're there.

**Meetup 5: 13 June 2026, 1-3pm
Beyond the label this pride month - $20pp

Explore the fluidity, complexity and labels we inhabit as part of our identities and share the labels we've taken on or discarded.

Create your own postcard, using recycled materials. Add lino prints, textures, words and illustrations.

Refreshments and light snacks provided.

**Meetup 6: 11 July 2026, 1-3pm
Stories & Works-in-Progress/Creative drop in - $20pp

Consistency, Collaboration. Community. This month is all about creating space for working on unfinished work. It's all about tackling the inner critic, enjoying the process over polish.

Option to tell us the story behind your project (no critiquing, just sharing).

Refreshments and light snacks provided.

**Meetup 7: 8 August 2026, 1-3pm
Joy and gratitude - $20pp

Let's see and celebrate the small moments when things feel tough. It's all about reframing frustrations and overwhelm by giving space to pause and create together.

We'll upcycle jars and vases using decoupage with paper/fabric/collage to create your own swear jar / gratitude jar / pride jar / decorative vase

**Meetup 8: 12 September 2026, 1-4pm
Wall of resilience collaborative making day - $20pp

Express your strength and survival through a collaborative "Wall of Resilience."  Inscribe affirmations, slogans, and symbols that represent your journey. Add paste ups, Graffiti. 

Refreshments and light snacks provided.

**Meetup 9: 10 October 2026, 1-3pm
Bodies, visibility and choice - $20pp

Explore what is means to affirm our autonomy and consent. Make accessibility standard. Celebrate body diversity.

Write your own poetry or prose, using personal or imagined experience from prompts about visibility, invisibility and choice.
Option to share with the group if comfortable.

 Refreshments and light snacks provided.

**Meetup 10: 13 November 2026, 1-3pm
Reflection and gratitude drop in - $20pp

In this co-making session, we'll reflect on our growth this year. 
Prompt: “Something I learned this year” and “Something I want to carry forward” 
Bring your own creative project and to work on alongside us. Enjoy connecting with like-minded lesbians while you create together. 

Optional: We'll have some basic materials (paper, pencils, pastels) to use and sketch while you're there.
