First Day Hike (Ranger-Guided, Mountain View, 0.8 miles)

Start your New Year off right by going on a First Day Hike!

Accessibility: Parking will be available near our Day Use and surrounding areas. Restroom is available near park store. Drinking water is available nearby and bottled water is available for purchase inside the park store. Path to program is pavement, mowed grass, and steps. Trail consists of multiple trip hazards including rocks and tree roots. ~400 feet elevation gain. Ground is primitive with hilly surface.

Program Expectations: Start your New Year out right by taking a healthy step into nature with us! We will be hiking ~0.8 miles on the Mountain View trail. This trail is challenging difficulty. Bring your family, friends, and fur babies with you to enjoy the fun too!(Dogs MUST remain on a leash at all times. Please pick up after them to prevent the spread of disease.)

When: 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Water
Sun protection
Proper hiking attire/gear

Program is included with park entry fees: $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Dress for the weather!
