Enjoy an inspiring evening of chamber music featuring masterworks by Mozart, Beethoven, and Amy Beach, performed by the acclaimed Franklin Pond Quartet: Ginny Fairchild and Carolyn Hancock, violins, Lachlan McBane, viola, and Barney Culver, cello. All members of the quartet are longtime faculty of Franklin Pond Chamber Music, a nonprofit organization based in Atlanta that nurtures young pre-college musicians in the rich tradition of chamber music. The faculty are seasoned educators and professional musicians with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Atlanta Opera Orchestra. 

This concert offers more than beautiful music — it’s an opportunity to deepen your appreciation of the pieces through brief, engaging commentary from the performers themselves. Join us on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 7:30pm in the Gloria Shott Performance Hall on the UNG Dahlonega Campus. The performance is free and open to the public.
