Areas you will explore:The Folly Garden with the original homestead, 40,000 flowering bulbs, annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees as well as the new reflecting pool.Endangered and restored habitats including the non-tidal freshwater wetland and learning garden, vernal ponds, and a re-created ancient inland dune biome.Whimsical creatures, magical places, hollies galore and a living shoreline restorations in the 12.5 acres of woodlands, gentle paths, and edge gardens.Abundant butterflies, birds, and other pollinators - a part of a package of environmentally sustainable initiatives that also features an award-winning living shoreline, a rain garden and green technology bathrooms.The Rhyne Garden in the parking area is an example of parking lot and storm water run-off management.
