- **Event Description**: Cypress Stage is excited to announce auditions for our upcoming season! Artistic Director, Ron Jones, is seeking talented, passionate performers of all ages, ethnicities, and experience levels.

OUR PLANNED SEASON
Shows are listed below. The show dates are being tweaked, but the season is slated to begin in March 2026 and your audition will allow you to be considered for all of the shows. 

• Barefoot in the Park – multi-racial production; by Neil Simon about newlyweds and how they figure out the “being married” thing.

• The Taffetas by Rick Lewis, features a set of four singing sisters in a 50's musical review, set in a TV studio 

• “Luce”, JC Lee's play about a suspicious teenager addresses issues of privilege, race, and trust. 

• A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur by Tennessee Williams, a story of four women in St. Louis who are making their way in the world, navigating friendship.

• Mystery show TBD

HOW TO PREPARE

• Cold Readings from the scripts (no monologue needed)

• Singers: Prepare songs from the 50's or the musical theatre genre

o Bring sheet music clearly marked for the accompanist.

o A cappella auditions are accepted but not preferred.

OTHER INFO

•You do not have to come both nights. 

• Auditions will include a brief movement call for those interested in musical roles - please dress comfortably.

• Please bring a headshot and résumé.

• Must be available Sunday, February 22, 2026, 4:00-6:00 PM for an event.

• All roles include a stipend.
