Join us for an afternoon of crossing hands, exchanging skills, and exploring the practical applications of traditional Kungfu.

This gathering will give martial artists the opportunity to train together through several interactive combat modalities, including:

• Dǎshǒu — striking hands and defensive engagement - think about combining push hands and chi sau
• Qínná — joint control, seizing, and restraint
• Tuīshǒu — sensitivity, structure, balance, and redirection
• Shuāi Tuīshǒu — moving push hands with clinching and throwing

The purpose of this event is cooperative exploration—not competition. Participants will be able to work with different training partners, compare methods, test their skills under appropriate resistance, and develop a deeper understanding of how traditional Kungfu principles function through live contact.

Practitioners of all Kungfu styles and experience levels are welcome. Please come with an open mind, good control, and respect for your training partners.

Cost:
$40 per participant
$10 per spectator

Equipment: No protective equipment is required. However participants may bring and wear a mouthguard if they wish. Participants may also bring mma gloves and a groin cup as necessary. Knee and elbow pads for joint stabilization and protection from falls are also suggested.
