The teens are asked to attend the entire workshop from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. Their parents are invited to come to the last thirty minutes of the workshop from 7:30-8:00 PM.All teens are asked to bring in their favorite electronic device where they utilize social media. The teens will walk away from this workshop understanding how their own personal mental health is affected by the apps that they use in their daily life, the latest statistics on social media and mental health, and tips and tricks on how to better manage their social media usage to ensure that their mental health is not being affected in a negative way.Parents will walk away with how to better monitor their children's mental health as it relates to the use of social media.Although the workshop is free, donations will be accepted on the evening of the event.Light snacks and drinks will be provided to all of the participants."
