Remember, you don't have to be a poet to attend. All you need is a passion for writing, in any format or a desire to start writing.

There will be a warm welcome and a cuppa waiting.

Also, at our next meet up, a local poet, Patrick Jones and Steph from The Jacob Abraham Foundation will be attending. It is such a privilege that they will be using our venue to invite people from Torfaen and surrounding areas. The aim is that local people can share their words and their heart and that Patrick will create a collaborative poem. The theme is resilience and hope. This project is funded by the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund. When the poem is completed, the hope is that it will be displayed as a permanent symbol of resilience and hope. At our last meet up in November 2025, we were blown away by what people contributed.
Take a look at The Jacob Abraham Foundation and the amazing work they do for families affected by suicide.
