- **Event Description**: Learn how to prioritize self-care and relearn your new identity as a parent in our PMAD psychotherapy group for women who are currently pregnant through one year postpartum.

Participants will learn communication strategies, how to notice and challenge anxious thoughts, attachment strategies, and establishing proper boundaries with themselves and others. Group members will also have the chance to talk with others who understand in a safe, non-judgmental space, as well as find caring and encouraging support.

Topics covered over each 8-week session include:

- WEEK 1: Self-Care; Self care assessment; Breathing Exercises
- WEEK 2: Sleep & Nutrition; Sleep Protocol; Safe Sleep MDHHS
- WEEK 3: Attachment & Bonding; Check the Facts
- WEEK 4: Identity; Role Identification; Strengths Activity
- WEEK 5: Healthy Relationships; Active Listening; Barriers
- WEEK 6: Boundary Setting & Communication; Boundary Practice examples
- WEEK 7: Scary Thoughts & Mom Guilt
- WEEK 8: Support Persons; Partner/Support person PMAD; Maintaining the relationships; How to support yourself, how to support others

Meets on Wednesdays, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM:
