- **Event Description**: The Deering Estate Presents Arts in Wellness: a series of cultural physical fitness programs on the Deering Estate grounds.

The Deering Estate curates a blend of cultural physical fitness classes that encourage focus on physical and mental health while also connecting to identity, culture and history. The Deering Estate collaborates with Yoga instructors, including members of the Artist-in-Residence program, successfully bridging the divide between the performative arts, such as music, dance, installation art and traditional physical fitness instruction.

The Deering Estate also collaborates with Open Door Yoga, whose yoga classes are offered in a serene environment in the greater Miami area. Their classes are always welcoming, whether new to yoga or a long-time practitioner, looking to unlock the door to awareness and growth.

Location: Class will meet at the Main Gate and will be held on the Deering Estate Front Lawn and Boat Basin. If weather is unsuitable, Yoga classes will be moved to the Deering Estate’s Visitor Center Building Breezeway.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your Event/Program start time.  This program starts on-time as scheduled. Late arrivals will be considered a no-show and will not be permitted to enter or participate, and will not be refunded, transferred, or credited.
