Between Wound and Repair by Jo Kaiser is a body of work exploring the spaces between emotional fracture, release and restoration. 

Through expressive oil and mixed-media paintings, incorporating hand stitching and intuitive mark-making, Jo invites us to acknowledge the emotions we often hide or tuck away. 

Deliberately untitled and unexplained, the artworks leave space for each viewer to find their own meaning. Visitors are encouraged to write their thoughts, feelings or interpretations and display them alongside the works, allowing the exhibition to evolve throughout the week. 

In sharing our individual responses, Between Wound & Repair explores the powerful idea that while our stories may differ, our emotions connect us, and that in finding our sameness, we can begin to heal.
