After the show, the garden will be travelling back up to Scotland to live permanently with Watch US Grow in Palacerigg Country Park in Cumbernauld. As we prepare for Chelsea, we are hosting a free day of art activities inspired by nature for adults and young people with Down's syndrome.You can find out more about Watch US Grow here.Refreshments (tea, coffee and snacks) will be provided but participants are asked to bring a packed lunch.Please be aware that the Watch US Grow house at Palacerigg Country Park is very cold in winter. They have a few small oil radiators and staff will be around to make hot drinks, but please expect to be cold even indoors and wrap up warmly.Staffing: DSS and Watch US Grow staff will be on site to support participants. Support workers or accompanying family members are very welcome to stay if they wish and there is a golf course and cafe on site at Palacerigg Country Park which they may wish to make use of.Directions: We will meet in the White House (Palacerigg House) which is beside the Watch US Grow Garden – there is plenty of parking at Palacerigg Country Park. Driving through the main entrance at Palacerigg Country Park, you will come to the parking (see ‘P’ on map below) with the visitor centre on your left. Head across to the yellow rectangle shown on the map below and you will see the White House beside Watch US Grow.Please arrive at Watch US Grow for 10am.
