- **Event Description**: Join us for the Abbey Studio Hafla on Sunday June 21st and enjoy an evening of dance performances in celebration of the solstice. As per tradition, local dancers, students and teachers will share their latest creations and works in progress in a small, intimate and inclusive space. This Hafla marks the end of an era at the Abbey and in honour of Haflas of yore, we will be revisiting some classic pieces including; the Hatching of Mothra, Pussy Riot, and a Simorgh collective dance created by Farima Berenji. You can also expect to see; dances by Bridget Salas ' Magnolia Dance company and students, aerial silks by Lillith Stoyko-Lang, contemporary dance by Cathy Coats, the always delightful Lisa Hamilton, the enigmatic Caresse Nadeau and more. 
Doors open at PM, performances start at 7:30PM
*No pre sold tickets, cash at the door, suggested donation $10-20
