WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING FOUR LOCAL ARTISTS/ ARTISANS WHO’D LIKE TO SHARE AN OPEN STUDIO CONCEPT ON THE FIRST FLOOR OF                 THE RUG SHOP.  

 

Have you ever visited the galleries and art studios in Thomas, WV?   Specifically, Bloom & Creature?         Isn’t Seth awesome?   We love what he has created with the other artists in Thomas.

Well, that is what we’d like to see happen to the first floor of 37 North Centre Street here in Cumberland.  An open artist/artisan studio concept to give home to four local creators.  Use your space to create,       display and sell your work.   Collaborate with the other resident creators on events, promotions,         workshops and more while sharing the highly visible gallery space. 

Each of the four leases would offer approximately 350 sq. ft. of personal work space with shared space for restrooms, egress, stairs and events. 

Do you work and create well with others?   Well, this just might be for you!

Leases for 350 sq.ft. would be $375 each per month (based on four tenants) plus 1/4th of utilities.   Each tenant would have their own one-year lease with Dr. Reza Azad starting September 1, 2026
