This combined event provides the opportunity to welcome new members into the Scottish Rite, honor those who have served our Valley with distinction, and take part in one of the Scottish Rite's most sacred ceremonies.The Capping Ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 pm followed by the Feast of Tishri including a Thanksgiving feast of Roast Turkey and all the trimmings and the offering of the Eight Toasts of Obligation and a reading of Albert Pike's "Anthem No. 1."The message of Tishri comes to us strongly and clearly from across the ages because it has been preserved in the symbolism and allegory of the Scottish Rite.
