Join a host of readers for a community reading of the classic tale, Dickens' Christmas Carol. Scrooge, Marley, the Cratchits, the Ghosts - they'll all be there!
Over 30 Villagers and friends are joining together to share a candle lit theatrical reading all in support of the Red Roof Replacement campaign at Weird Church (Cumberland United).
Weird Church is a critical 3rd space in our community, providing a home base for local choirs, film nights, youth programs, improv theatre, dance performances, concerts, social justice and arts organizations, and the local food shed and food share programs. Its welcomes the spiritual and the secular and embodies the notion of radical inclusion!
The church is also 130 years old and is in dire need of a roof replacement to prevent further leaks and building damage.
Tickets are sliding scale starting at $20. 100% proceeds from this benefit will support that project. Feel free to bring cash of food donations for the food shed as well!
