Since 2003, this community-driven event has been bringing runners together to tackle rugged singletrack, winding cross-country trails, and heart-pumping climbs—all while raising vital funds to protect the forest we love.  

Whether you’re a seasoned mountain goat or a first-time trail explorer, there’s a distance for you:

🏃‍♀️ 12K Mountain Run: A technical, challenging loop through Cumberland’s world-class trail network.

🏃‍♂️ 6K Cumby Cruise: A perfect middle-ground for those looking for a fast, fun, and scenic challenge.

🧒 3K X-Country Romp: A family-friendly romp through the woods—perfect for kids and newcomers!  

WHY RUN PERSEVERANCE?
Beyond the epic trails and the legendary "Miners" climb, this race is about community. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Cumberland Community Forest Society to help purchase and protect local forest lands for future generations.
