She will guide you in warping a rigid heddle loom - a good loom for first-time weavers - and then guide you in efficient techniques to finish weaving your scarf by the end of the day!We provide all yarn, looms, and equipment. She instantly fell in love with this way of creating with yarn, bought her first loom, and has been weaving ever since. She typically weaves shawls, scarves, placemats, or table runners and thinks all yarn lovers should learn to weave. She has taught and mentored a number of topics throughout her life and is excited to use those skills to introduce rigid heddle weaving to new people.WORKSHOP FEE: $75.00. Includes instruction, yarns, and use of a rigid heddle loom.LOCATION: Garden Room of the Veterans Memorial Building in Culver City's Veterans Memorial Park.
