We've also opened our doors for a series of classes open to the public as part of our Summer of Zines series.In this workshop, we experiment with the one-sheet zine and its possibilities. With prompts to ignite ideas, participants will create their own zine and print it using the risograph. No experience needed in either risography or bookmaking.WORKSHOP OUTLINEA very brief history of risography and zines. Riso introduction, best practices, and demos. One-sheet zine inspiration and demos. Design tips and tricks. Idea prompts!---CRASH Space is a non-profit organization located in Los Angeles and run by volunteers. We are a collection of artists, hackers, programmers, builders, and makers. Our members use the space to work on their projects, share ideas, and help each other create whatever they envision.Alex Belardo Kostiw explores unknown parts and possibilities in the everyday and in ourselves through poetic elements, visual structures of comics, and conceptually driven forms.
