And after graduating from Boston College, I moved to L.A., partly to pursue a creative path, and partly because my old apartment did not have a dishwasher.​ I never got that dishwasher, but I did manage to catch a few early breaks in screenwriting.The first was co-writing a movie for Mike Karz and Josie Rosen during their overall deal at Warner Brothers; the project was purchased by Michael Eisner's company and later ran on SHOWTIME. That led to a few more things, like developing a pilot for SNL's Punkie Johnson, a game show for TBS Digital, and a pilot for global headliner Morgan Jay.On a parallel track, I’ve been doing a lot of standup. You might've seen me opening for Harland Williams, Tom Clark, and Morgan Jay -- or hosting for Anthony Jeselnik, Theo Von, and Nikki Glaser. I've performed at clubs, casinos, and corporates. Recorded one of the first standup specials in VR. And one time, I bombed at a "silent rave." (That's my bad on that.)​I most recently co-wrote a script for National Lampoon during their overall deal at Paramount. Wrote a book that debuted at #1 in its category on Amazon. And I feature on the road. Currently, I live in Los Angeles, have a dog named Cookie, and only own one belt.Anne FlaggAnne Flagg puts the ‘fun’ in funny with every stage she’s rocked in her decade plus of stand-up experience. She’s performed all over the world from Cambodia to Mexico City, but the Riverside native splits her time between Las Vegas and Southern California where her act has been called “genius” and “effervescent”. Having placed 1st in the 2023 San Diego Brewery Comedy Competition and being a former Roastlemania Women’s League champ, in addition to performing at clubs such as The Laugh Factory, The Improv, and The Ice House Comedy Club, you can catch her on stage talking openly and with great expression about relationships, her family, staying in shape, and more!
