The "Extremely Jolly" is just that...It's Jolly Running’s Christmas 10k trail race set in the beautiful private grounds of the Escot Estate.
It promises to get you in the Christmas spirit!
The Extremely Jolly is a totally unique trail race, it’s the first and only trail race to feature a waterslide!!
The event is taking place on Sunday 14th December 2025.
The race starts at 11am at Escot House in Ottery St Mary, EX11 1LU.
Christmas is a time for giving and this race gives you over 6 miles of festive fun set in the absolutely picturesque grounds of Escot.
Escot is a beautiful location and the challenging but fun route offers a variety of trails, woodland tracks, rocky paths, streams, quaint bridges, fields and water crossings if the river levels allow. You may even be lucky enough to see a deer on your run. The course always offers you a very generous amount of mud too, so a change of clothes post-race is recommended.
We also give you a few surprises along the way and upon finishing you are presented with a unique Jolly Running medal.
Spectators are most welcome and we also have hot food and drink vendors for before, during and after the event.
Festive fancy dress is highly encouraged as it adds fun to the festive spirit.
There will also be bespoke prizes for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Men and Ladies.
This year we are also bringing back the Extremely Jolly Little Elves Fun Run for anyone over 8 years old.

Deferrals & transfers are unable to be processed after this date. Transferring your entry can be easily managed yourself anytime up until the deadline date through your Racenation account.
