The exhibit marks two major milestones: the 100th anniversary of Route 66 and the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The exhibit is free and will be open to the public:

Sunday, May 3rd (11:00 am - 6:00 pm) Opening event for the exhibit, including "Taste of Cuba" restaurants, live music and a 1:00 pm panel discussion with author Joe Sonderman,
who will sell and sign books, Cherokee historian Galen Gritts and other special guests sharing history and their travels on Route 66. 

Monday, May 4th (10:00 am - 4:00 pm): Special guided visits for school groups. Email info@visitcubamo.com to reserve your group.

Tuesday - Saturday, May 5th - September 14th (10:00 am - 4:00 pm): Exhibit open to the public 

The Route 66 Centennial Traveling Exhibit is made possible with support from the Missouri Route 66 Centennial Commission, Missouri Humanities, the Missouri Route 66 Association, the Crawford County Historical Society and many other institutions. The exhibit will continue to travel to communities along the Mother Road, highlighting local histories while connecting them to the broader national story.
