Earth Day Celebration

OARS is proud to participate in the Neighborhood Forest Free Tree Program for Youth. Through this initiative, every child who registers via our coordinator page will receive a free tree to plant in the Children’s Garden at OARS. This hands-on experience helps young participants build a personal connection to nature while learning about stewardship, growth, and caring for the land—one tree at a time.

On Saturday, April 25th, 2025 from Noon - 4pm, OARS will host a tree planting for your child in our growing outdoor classroom called Sally's Circle. A nature-centered classroom inspired by local educator Sally Jane at CRES. Local environmental groups, gardening groups, and trail groups will also be in attendance!
