Opening the night is the debut of The Funk Brunch Allstars, a High Sierra-born trio featuring Rambo Party, Funksalot, and Disco Terrorist - each known for deep crates and cosmic funk. For Tahoe locals and visitors alike, this is the can’t-miss mid-winter event: a next-level night of music at the legendary Crystal Bay Club Crown Room on Friday, January 23, 2026.

Smoked Out Soul

Smoked Out Soul pays homage to funk’s past and looks to its future. Born out of San Francisco’s Mission district, what began as a club night has evolved into a touring phenomenon featuring live horns, analogue synths, guitar, drums, and a DJ backbone. The sound: Memphis grit meets California sun — dusty records meet computer love — all with a heavy dose of future-disco. They’ve graced festivals such as Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, High Sierra, Lightning in a Bottle and the Joshua Tree Music Festival.

RUMPUS
Live-drumming house music phenom with 10M+ streams.

RUMPUS is flying in from Canada for his Crystal Bay Club premiere. Rumpus has built a reputation for taking house music into live-drum, punk-energy territory, blurring genres and igniting dance floors globally. With Beatport-charting releases, over 10 million streams, and support from major names like Tiësto, John Summit, and Solomun, his shock-wave sets have been featured at festivals from Shambhala to Burning Man. In March 2025, his track Set It Off was featured in Season 3 of HBO’s The White Lotus.
This is a rare chance to see him in an intimate venue setting — bringing full energy, live drumming and high-voltage house.

The Funk Brunch Allstars

Born at High Sierra Music Festival, The Funk Brunch Allstars unite three funk-forward DJs with deep crates and deeper grooves. Their debut as an official trio will kick off the night with a collaborative, soulful musical journey.

North Lake Tahoe’s intergalactic funk selector, known for festival-level high energy sets at Shambhala, Burning Man, Electric Forest, Lightning in a Bottle, Dirtybird Campout, and more.

Funksalot

Armed with two turntables, ten fingers, and “eleven toes,” Funksalot specializes in deep-bass dance-floor heat drawn from the mothership and beyond.

Disco Terrorist

Funk-born, disco-raised, known for infectious, genre-blending sets (funk, breaks, hip-hop, soul, house, disco). Has supported acts like Fort Knox Five, The Motet, Mark Farina, Slynk, and many others.
