Revive & Thrive: A Women’s Nature & Resilience Day Retreat in CR9 🌿
Is your brain fried? Join me for a day of gentle yet powerful restoration at a Revive & Thrive Day Retreat where nature will be your guide to building resilience and finding calm.
This relaxing and uplifting retreat is all about recharging in the beautiful wild setting of The Wilderness Garden in Shirley Croydon.
The Morning: Building Resilience through Nature Connection:
After coffee and croissants to start the day (because why not?) we’ll dive into a jam-packed workshop that explores how connecting with nature can boost your health mood and overall well-being. We’ll unpack the science behind forest bathing and have some fun with my Nature Bingo game!
You’ll dive into interactive exercises designed to help you tap into your inner resilience and discover practical ways to use nature to build that strength. Expect an easy-going interactive session where you’ll feel inspired and empowered 🌿
An Afternoon Forest Bathing session:
After lunch (bring a packed lunch) we’ll head outdoors for a guided forest bathing session. But this isn’t just about slowing down although that is a big part of forest bathing. It’s about learning to embrace the grey areas of life and seeing them in a new light. We’ll practice noticing natural details finding joy in the small things and soothing our nervous system.
We intuitively know that spending time in nature is good for us but either we don’t make time or aren’t sure how to really connect with it. At this retreat you’ll not only explore why urban nature has such a powerful impact on our well-being but you'll leave with practical ways to truly benefit from it.
Forest Bathing is the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku and simply involves a slow guided walk through nature using your senses to engage and notice details you would otherwise miss.
The MHA Wilderness Garden is a hidden gem: A private wild space surrounded by trees. Nestled within the garden is our cosy wooden hub where you’ll feel instantly relaxed by the rustic and peaceful atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect.
Details:
- 9.30am. Coffee & croissants on arrival ☕ 🥐
- 10 - 12 noon. A resilience-building workshop 🌱
- 12 - 1pm. Lunch 🥪
- 1- 2.30pm. An afternoon of restorative forest bathing 🌿
- 3 - 3.30pm. Tea and homemade cookies. Final session.
Afterwards you will receive nature connection handouts with practical tips and exercises and a nature connection mp3.
Private parking on-site 🚗
Bring warm layers and waterproofs if wet as we spend time outdoors. Spend the day with me connect with like-minded women and let nature do the rest. 🌸
