And as a person of the Jamaican diaspora, it is completely heartbreaking to see ones ancestral homeland, family, friends and wider community suffer because of this.This is truly a time that calls for fortifying the mind, body and spirit as we explore the many ways we can support one another through times of crisis, uncertainty, grief and change.Herbs For Resilience will be led by Bekah Williams from Earthchild Remedies, a British-Jamaican Herbalist, Wellbeing and Menstrual Health Practitioner, Urban Foraging, Sacred Circle and Visual Arts Facilitator, Cultural Producer and Creative. Bekah's roots run deep into Jamaican Maroon and Celtic wisdoms, traditions and healing practices.Bekah has trained with her elder Ivelyn Harris, 7th generation Maroon Herbalist of the Windward Maroons in Cornwall Baracks, Portland Jamaica.
