A group of local voluntary and faith organisations are coming together to provide local homeless people with a warm place to sleep at night, some hot food and showering facilities. It will be offered in a local church in West/Central Croydon from January to April 2026.Come to the induction for potential volunteers delivered by specialist provider Housing Justice and hear more about the initiative! You will hear about the many roles available including:Helping to cook hot nutritious mealsWelcoming guests in the evening, socialising and chattingSupporting guests to connect with local services and stakeholderSetting up the space for the nightOvernight volunteers helping guest to have a good safe night sleep (concierge on site too)Come along, learn, and connect with others passionate about lending a hand. Can't wait to see you there at the CVA Resource Centre on 82 London Road CR0 2TB, near West Croydon station.
