Meet at 233 Shirley Church Road, CR0 5AB. Arrive from 11:00, assemble at 12:45 for 13:00 departure.
The location is a gated, private residence, so you will be able to relax and prepare for the ride in privacy. Although supporters and friends are welcome to enjoy the 2 acres of clothing optional gardens, our policy is to deny access to photographers and gawkers.
Genuine press photographers may be permitted by prior agreement with the Ride Leader. This will include no photograph being taken without the subject’s permission and pictures can only be published if a signed model release is obtained. Message the host (David) if you wish to make such an agreement. Anyone taking photographs without permission or acting in an intrusive manner will be made to delete their pictures and leave the premises.
There is space for clothing optional camping at the start, but please message host (David) via Facebook page if you wish to stay. Riders wishing to attend the Brighton ride can camp overnight and catch a train there from East Croydon on Sunday.
Croydon narrowly beats Kew Bridge on distance, but has a gentle pace of about 9mph (when moving, overall average will be closer to 6mph). Following a tour of a few town centres we will be joining the other groups in Central London after 2.3/4 hours. Although no great fitness is required please ensure your bike is in good working order and you are used to riding it for several miles.
*New route this year mostly flat/downhill and avoiding the traffic jams we encountered last year*
You are welcome to return to the start for a clothes optional 'bring you own food 'BBQ after the ride, but we will not be organising a full return ride this year as several people were getting too tired last time. There will be a return ride to Clapham Junction from where you could get a train back to East Croydon and we will regroup at East Croydon to guide back anyone who wishes to return to the start. This also gives you a chance to pick up some food. Assembly details for the return ride will be given before we set off from Croydon.
Paints, sponges and brushes will be available to paint yourselves plus a painter from 11:00 to 12:30 to paint slogans (please think about what you want in advance). If you have arranged your own painter and need extra time for an extensive design just message the host (David) with the time you want to arrive. Toilets and other amenities are available.

The World Naked Bike Ride is a global protest movement with rides in cities around the world, raising awareness of issues such as safety of cyclists on the road, reducing oil dependence and saving the planet. Let's make the planet great again!
WNBR’s themes are to:
- protest against the global dependency on oil
- curb car culture
- obtain real rights for cyclists
- demonstrate the vulnerability of cyclists on city streets
- celebrate body freedom
As well as promoting healthy life choices it can also be the best fun you can ever have on two wheels. The London ride has the excitement of a carnival, with big crowds to cheer it on. It is a "naked bike ride" but you can be "as bare as you dare" - body painting and fancy dress are welcome. It is fun, legal and all in a worthy cause.
There are multiple start points for this year's ride, so please choose the one you like the most. The exact route from Croydon will be available at the start

Because there have been complaints in the past, we must remind you not to engage in sexually provocative or otherwise inappropriate behaviour that will bring the WNBR and its causes into disrepute. Such behaviour may also be a criminal offence, and if you see any on the ride, please report it to a marshal.
