Parent carers of Croydon, come and take a breather with us at our upcoming coffee morning. Drop in for a warm drink, a friendly chat, and honest peer support from people who get it.

A parent carer is a parent or guardian who supports a child or young person with disabilities or additional needs, helping them thrive and navigate learning, communication, sensory and everyday life differences.

Who it’s for:
• All Croydon parent carers (new and familiar faces welcome)
• We’d especially like to welcome families from our 20 PINS schools, we’d love to hear how things are going and what would help next

What to expect:
• A calm, welcoming space (little ones are welcome)
• Time to share wins and worries without judgement
• Practical signposting on things like SEN Support, EHCPs, DLA/PIP forms, meetings with school, and where to find help in Croydon
• Quick check-ins from the CAV team about what’s happening locally and how your voice shapes it

When: Wednesday 26th November, 10:00–12:00
Where: Cedar View Care Home, Stanmore Road, Croydon
Cost: Free
Access & comfort: Tell us any access needs or sensory preferences and we’ll do our best to make it work for you. A quiet area is available.
