Holiday Buffet; Stories and Songs led by Maury Thompson

Join the Adirondack Torch Club for a holiday buffet at the War Cannon in Crown Point, NY. The cost for food is $30 (includes tax and tip) paid to the club's treasurer by cash or check written to the Adirondack Torch Club. There also will be a separate cash bar paid individually to War Cannon. Cocktail hour begins at 4:30.

Many people like to wear festive clothes for this event. Some dress up. Others wear holiday ties or "ugly" Christmas sweaters. Wear what's comfortable for you. We will be in the main floor bar room, not a fancy restaurant area, separated from other customers.

About the Program

Maury Thompson, club secretary, will lead a program of stories and holiday songs. In addition to Maury's stories, club member Ed Koenigseck will share a childhood Christmas story from his memoir Island Park.

To add to the fun, there will be party favors (including jingle bell necklaces) and a few door prizes.
