ELECTIONEERING:
IC 3-14-3-16 — Unlawful Electioneering
A person may not electioneer within the polling place or within fifty (50) feet of the entrance to the polling place while the polls are open.
What “Electioneering” Includes
Under this section, electioneering generally includes:
-Soliciting votes for or against a candidate or public question,
-Distributing campaign materials,
-Displaying political campaign material,
-Engaging in political advocacy directed at voters.
IC 3-11-8-15 — Polling Place Conduct
Gives precinct election officers authority to preserve order and enforce electioneering restrictions inside the polling location.
