Participants may have the option of volunteering at the Crown Point Birth Center, which provides an opportunity to get expert-mentored births with Louise.The workshop takes place in Crown Point, Indiana, over two weekends, first February 14th and 15th, then 21st and 22nd, between 8:30 am and 6:30 pm Central time. There are 12 seats available, and we will maintain a wait list in case of cancellations.The fee for the workshop is $600, payable within four days after you register. Your registration will include directions on how to provide payment to Franciscan Crown Point, the sponsor of the workshop. Cancellations before 30 days prior to the workshop will receive a full refund; fees for cancellations within 30 days may be applied to a future workshop.This workshop provides in-person, hands-on training to be a Birth Doula. Health protocols will be followed, consistent with CDC, Indiana, Lake County and Franciscan Health guidelines. Participants must agree to follow the protocols, which will be communicated two weeks before the event.
