Future Chef Passport to Flavor Cooking Competition
We are inviting all Future Chefs in grades 2-5 to submit a recipe inspired by a country or culture from anywhere in the world — from spicy tacos to tasty noodles or sweet treats — the possibilities are endless! Let your creativity shine.
Judging will be based on originality, ease of preparation, healthy attributes, kid-friendliness, taste, plate presentation, and chef presentation—ensuring every dish reflects both creativity and culinary skill.
Follow this link to submit your recipe by noon, Saturday, February 21, 2026: www.FutureChefsChallenge.com. Paper submission forms are also available from your school cafeteria manager or cashier.
• A distinguished panel of professional chefs will evaluate each submission and narrow the number of finalists to a maximum of 16 student finalists from across the district.
• Those finalists will be formally invited to the Culinary Competition “Cook-Off” tentatively scheduled for 5:00 PM, March 5, 2026, at the Bill R. Johnson CTE Center.
Family and friends are encouraged to attend to cheer their student chef forward.
