- **Event Description**: Join us for an After Dark evening devoted to the strange, surgical, and suspect world of medical history. We’ll be opening the cabinets to reveal a curated selection of artefacts that chart our long, inventive, and occasionally unhinged attempts to understand the human body.

You’ll encounter the barbaric practices of lobotomy and blood letting, and a hand-cranked Victorian vibrator which claimed miraculous cures for all manner of ailments. That’s only the beginning… we also have a collection of 1970s wax teratology models and a chance to use a microscope to view antique microscope slides from the 1800s.

Expect a variety of other medical curiosities from the Morbitorium’s collection: tools, treatments, and teaching aids that range from the ingenious to the downright bizarre.

Spaces are limited, with a maximum of 6 people per hour
