- **Event Description**: Join us for the December volunteer day hosted by Coonskin Trails Coalition! Coonskin Park's trails are built and maintained by volunteers from the community and we would love to have your help!

When? Saturday, December 20 from 1:00-3:30pm 
Where? Shelter 17 in the Upper Park
(Rain date - Sunday, December 21 1:00-3:30)

We will continue our work on the new Wood Land Trail by digging and moving dirt to make sections of trail easier and more accessible. In addition to digging, we also need volunteers to hike trails with clippers to remove encroaching tree branches. Don't feel like working? Come anyway and bring some snacks to share and learn more about the Coalition!

Come prepared with closed toe shoes, work gloves, insect (tick) repellent, and water. We will have tools available, but you may consider bringing standard dirt-moving tools such as metal rakes, garden hoes/mattics, or trimming tools. 

Come as early as 12:30pm to sign the required work waiver and to socialize!
