Mighty Prince Magnus and radiant Princess Sina invite you to the Shire of Hartwood to witness the Investiture of their Heirs, Finn and Eduardo, to the Storm Throne of Tir Righ!

The jubilant hosting branch of Hartwood wishes to encourage attendees to show their pride with a riot of color; displaying their personal and branch heraldry.

The event will also include the annual tournament to choose the new rapier champion of Tir Righ will be held. The tournament will be in a Round Robin format. Two round robin pools with the top four from each pool seeding the next round which will be single elimination until two remain to fight the finals which will be best three out of five. If there are 24 or more participants, then there will be additional Robin Pools.

Additional activities will occur as well such as an Archery and Thrown Weapons contests, Largess Contest, Period Dessert A&S Contest and auction with proceeds going towards the Tir Righ Travel Fund. Further details on these will be posted soon.

Pets are welcome, An Tir leash laws will be in effect.

Merchants are welcome as well, at no additional fee, and should contact the Event Steward to
reserve a table.

Site Fees: Adult: $35, Seniors 65 and older and Students $30 (ID showing status required), Youth 18 and under: FREE. SCA members will receive a $10 discount.  


February Investiture Schedule

7:00am - Site Opens for set up; event team, royals, retinue, and merchants
8:30am - Gate Open
8:30am - Rapier Lists Open
9:30am – 12:30pm Final Court of Magnus and Sina, Court of Ulfgar and Juahara, Investiture of Finn and Eduardo
9:30am - Rapier Lists Close
1:00pm - Invocation of Lists for Rapier Championship followed by tournament
1:00pm – Archery and Thrown Weapons Contests
2:00pm -  Judging of A&S Dessert Contest
3:15pm* - MOD meeting *immediately following the rapier tournament*
3:15pm* – Cut & Thrust casual tournament *start time following the rapier tournament*
4:00pm - First Court of Finn and Eduardo
5:00pm –Court of Ulfgar and Juahara
7:00pm - Site Clean up
8:00pm - Site Closes
