- **Event Description**: Piney Woods Lions Club will hold produce distributions at the Crockett Civic Center parking lot in Crockett. We are teaming up with Standing with Crockett and the Piney Woods Leo Club for these distributions. These events will be held on the 3rd Monday of each month from 5-7pm. There will be free produce given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. These are drive-thru distributions. Stay in your car and be prepared to pop your trunk or have your backseat unlocked. It’s recommended that you have a box or container of some kind (such as a laundry basket) for us to place the produce in. Otherwise we’ll just place the produce as is in your vehicle. This will very likely be different than the previous produce distributions as we are not expecting the produce to be pre-boxed. Most likely we will have individually bagged produce of various kinds to provide. After receiving produce, participants will exit out the back of the parking lot. There are no eligibility or ID requirements to receive the items - anyone in Houston County is welcome to receive fresh produce at these events.
