GUIDELINES

This event is designed for students between the ages of 10 and 18.

Art for this event can be visual (painting, drawing, multi-media, etc.); written (poetry, prose, short story, verse, etc.); or music (score, song, etc.).

Art must be original work.

Please make sure the following information is attached to the artwork: Title, Artist Name/s, Medium, Location, & Price (if for sale)

The art will be displayed in the gallery until November 30th, and also during our Craft Fair in December (date to be determined)

Students can enter up to 3 pieces.

Students can work alone or with other students.

DATES TO REMEMBER

1.      October 19th - Submit an INTENT TO PARTICIPATE FORM.

2.      November 1st - Drop off art at Corbin Studio & Gallery, 4 E Main St, Crisfield, MD.

3.      November 8th - Present art to family, friends, and art enthusiasts at the reception.

4.      November 8th - 3-5 PM - Win prizes at reception

Corbin Studio & Gallery is open Wednesday – Saturday, from 11 AM-3 PM. Please stop in if you have any questions. The Arts & Entertainment District is donating select supplies, a quiet place to create, and local artists to assist students in their creative process. Email artsincrisfield@gmail.com

Student Art Exhibit

This is a wonderful opportunity for young artists to express their creativity and gain recognition in the arts community. Participants can work independently or collaborate with others to create a piece of visual art—such as a painting, sculpture, or woodworking project, or a piece of written work like a poem, short story, or song. Not only will you have a chance to win a prize, but creators will also have the opportunity to present their work at a special reception with friends, family, and local artists. This event offers valuable exposure, as the artworks will be exhibited at Corbin Studio & Gallery throughout November, providing an opportunity for sales and further recognition. This exhibit is for individuals ages 10-18, and parental consent is required to submit work. This is a unique platform to showcase talent and connect with fellow artists and art enthusiasts in the community. Come join us in celebrating the young artists in this area!

We are limiting the submissions to 20. This is to allow all participants ample opportunity to present their creations at the reception.
