This event will feature a wealth of well-known Woodturners all demonstrating at this FREE event, hosted on-site, at Yandles.
After listening to customer feedback, for 2026, we have removed the marquee & will be hosting each Woodturner inside their own covered area around the Toolshop & Timber Yard – giving more space & a better flow for the event.
From bowls to hollow forms, goblets to boxes, we are assembling another unbeatable team of top demonstrators to showcase their skills on the lathe. Supported by Record Power, each Woodturner will have their own lathe & will be demonstrating throughout the day.

Woodturning Techniques – back for 2026
Come & try out some woodturning techniques inside Yandles Training Room under the guidance of Paul Ridler RPT. We will be hosting some unique sessions inside our training room, with only 4-spaces on each session, be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Please note, these Woodturning sessions are aimed at woodturners with at least a basic level of experience.
Book your 2-hour slot with RPT Paul Ridler, Paul will be in our training room, with 4-herald lathes in action. Try your hand at some new techniques or improve on existing ones. Choose from:
Texturing & Decoration Techniques 10am-12pm
Natural Edge / Green woodturning 1pm-3pm
Tool Sharpening Masterclass (1-hour) 3:30pm – 4:30pm
