Many people are prescribed Yoga for many physical, mental and emotional health challenges. Yoga can offer immediate relief and positive changes for people, but this can be very superficial. Yoga has the potential of going to the root cause of a health condition and therefore needs to be practiced consistently with understanding, sensitivity and awareness.
If you joined the Yoga Therapy for Stress and Anxiety Workshop, you will have learnt many foundational practices with modern day science and research to explain why they have this profound effect on the body, mind and spirit.
This workshop is now going to explore how the philosophy of the Chakras can help you understand more deeply why certain health conditions, behaviours and challenges arise. You’ll begin to understand how your health can be supported by exploring the health and vitality of your own energy centers, the chakras, and how you can begin to make fundamental changes in your practice and every day life, which can lead to balance and happiness. For example, behaviour and illnesses associated with the root chakra will be discussed, and yogic practices to support the health of this energy centre explored. At the end of these 2 days, you will leave with a foundational understanding of how to apply the lens of the chakras, therapeutically to your own health and wellbeing.
This is not a CPD training, but any yoga teacher or energy practitioner can apply this into their own practice, which I am sure will flow into their own teachings.
