Farm Kids: Future Farmers and 4-H in the Creston Valley

With the Creston Valley’s focus on agriculture, it’s not surprising that there were many ways for farmers to learn about the industry and the best techniques for growing crops here.

From 1944 onwards, young people had two organizations helping them learn about farming techniques in a very hands-on, practical way: Future Farmers and 4-H. Join us for an investigation into the history and role of these clubs in shaping the young farmers of the Creston Valley.

We’ll put the coffee on, you bring your lunch, and together we’ll explore Creston’s fascinating history!

Admission is free for members, $5 per person for non-members.
